In the introduction, she describes briefly the policy Arthur Greiser, Governor of the Reichsgau Wartheland, carried out with regard to the Catholic Church on this area and presents a system of repression which resulted in limiting the right to carry out religious observances.

This publication recounts the profiles of clergymen detained in the Żabikowo camp. Despite the hard conditions, ever devoted, they did not end their pastoral activity in the Reichsgau Wartheland and were only disrupted by arrests and imprisonment. Those indomitable people went through the ordeal of camp, often dying behind barbed wires.
