Workcamp

mlodziez_przy_pracy_wykopaliskowej Workcamps held in various parts of the world create an opportunity for many young people to contribute to the world peace, to visit new places and meet new people from completely different environments.

During the two-week camps, teenagers from all over the world become involved in local enterprises, they can fulfill their personal dreams and goals, broaden their knowledge of the world and open their minds to what has previously been unknown to them.

Workcamps involve various voluntary activities which range from working with children, participating in environmental projects and renovation works, working with the needy and refugees, to contributing to peace festivals. Such organizations as the “One World” Association/SCI provide Workcamp participants with food and accommodation.

They also help them to learn about the places where the events take place and try to introduce them to local communities. All participants communicate in English. Workcamps are an excellent combination of the world-oriented activity and individual development.
