On every August 13, left-wing activists from Poznań and members of the Democratic Left Alliance (SLD) from the Poznań Poviat commemorate 11 activists of the Polish Workers’ Party (PPR) executed on August 13, 1944 in the former prison camp in Żabikowo.

Among the victims were: Jan Mazurek, Tadeusz Weinert, Roman Pasikowski, Jakub Przybylski, Michał Bojczuk, Eugeniusz Augustyniak, Jan Zgodziński, Wacław Malinowski, Józef Zatorski, Stefan Karpiak, Jakub Kaczmarek.
